The Mausoleum is a memorial for the
human self-conception of Sophie Ramirez.
There, SOFF buried her understanding of the self as an individual separated from their environment and defined by a singular identity, within a shrine. The funeral ceremony took place at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf as part of SOFF’s graduation show in summer 2024.
The Mausoleum is the first comet ever to appear in the SOFF Multiverse, and the first to which an interdimensional portal was opened
from the human world.
