„Alter Ego“ is the first photo series by Sophie Ramirez. The artist created it in the first semester of her studies at Art Academy Duesseldorf, Germany, when she was 18 years old. „Alter Ego“ reflects on community and diversity, identity, physicality and equality.
Fun fact: After the photo shoot, the toilet for women, elevator, staircase and photo studio of the art academy were full of glitter. That day, SOFF bought a „Swiffer“ for the first time in her life, which made her feel very grown up.
